I have never been a fan of Google Now. Mainly because I hate the trigger word "Ok Google" Is there a way I can trigger the phone with Autovoice by a different command name and reproduce the same results that Google Now does?

For example, can I say "Denise", or "Brian" as trigger word and have the same results Google Now would give me but not in Google Now voice, but my preferred TTS voice of my choosing?

    Hi there.
    Unfortunately no.

You could enable AutoVoice continuous but that is very battery hungry so it's not a good alternative in every situation.
You could send your voice query to Google Search but that won't you give TTS results.

What Android version are you running? Maybe there's another way around this.

Hmm, I don't think it'll work on that one. You need the always listening chip like you have on the Nexus 6. Sorry :(
