AutoRemote Cannot send message to to linux raspberry pi

HI all,
Hopefully someone here can tell me what I am doing wrong.
I am trying to setup my raspberry pi with autoremote.

I succesfully run the command on the pi and see the device registered on my phone. Since I have been having trouble with this I have added the device and removed it numerous times. I think maybe on one of my android devices it actually asked me for the password for my PI as in the instructions. Since then it has never prompted me for it.

Now if I try to send a message to the raspberry pi from the android device it registered on it never goes through. Autoremote gives me numerous toast retries and that is it. Nothing specific in the logs.

Is there something more I need to do to make this work?
