Join is eating up my battery. It's always at the top of battery usage chart. Clearing cache, uninstall and reinstall do not work. Using latest version of join and running on OnePlus 5t Android 9.

Hi. Thanks for the report. Are you by any chance syncing SMS and contacts with Join? Do you maybe have lots and lots of SMS/contacts to sync? If so, that could be what it's doing when you first install it and that's why it's eating up more battery at first...

I do have SMS and contacts sync enabled but it's been a month since I installed it. It's still using a lot of battery, in fact i noticed the first week or so it didn't use as much battery as now.

Hhmm, very strange. Could you please try rebooting and see if it persists?

Persists through reboot but disabling and enabling sms sync seems to fix the problem.

I'm having the same issue with join using up a lot of my battery. I'm on the Android 11 beta using a pixel 4 XL
