I'm trying to setup a task using Join's "Send Push" with the setting to get the other device's location. It appears to work as a regular "Get Location" within the app and triggers the app to open and show the location. However, it doesn't appear to set the variables (%joinlatitude,%joinlocation) and actually eventually times out with an error. Does anyone else use this feature with in Tasker successfully? I'd hoped to use it to only populate the variables for further use in the task.

I actually just tried this and it's still working for me. Does it still not work for you?

I only get a request for which map utility I want to use to open the coordinates. It doesn't appear to move to the next actions (flash the variables) and just stops after the first action whether I choose a map app or not.

Oh sorry, just noticed that this happens when you request location to a windows or chrome device. This'll be fixed on the next releases, thanks!
