AutoWear Lg G Watch screen problems

Hi
I want to turn the watch's screen (LG G Watch) off at night (when charging) and on at day.
I tried two things:
1.) AutoWear->command 'screen on(off)'
That doesn't do anything...it doesn't even write anything to the log.

2.) AutoWear->settings 'keep screen on(off)'
turns on and off the screen, so i thought that's it. but when the screen is on the watch discharges very fast because the watch does not go to power save mode (it normally dims the light after a few seconds of inactivity).

Any ideas?
