On Oreo, I have a feeling that because of how background services are handled the AutoRemote messages aren't sent unless the screen is turned on.

As soon as I turn the screen on (after knowing that it should have sent a message) the message is actually delivered.

Will probably need to have an option to run in the foreground :(

My notification bar is getting crowded :/ (not your fault!)

Hi, please check that the app is whitelisted for Doze. Is that maybe the issue?

    Hey,

I've made this change, and haven't noticed too much improvement. It's interesting tho because I also added AutoLocation to the list and it seems to have gone backwards in terms of working with the screen off, if the screen has been off for at least 10 minutes, maybe even shorter. As soon as the screen turns on it starts monitoring and the AutoRemote message is sent. :/
