   I have Autowear set up to respond to voice commands, but sometimes due to background noise, etc. it doesn't send the command until the timeout period ends. I can see that it has understood the command but is still listening. Is there a way to add a touch event or button to tell it when to send the command?

   Unfortunately not sorry The voice screen is a built-in Android screen that I have no control over. Wish I could help!

   yes, that you could do, but you still wouldn't be able to tell the voice screen to finish listening..
