Open Send SMS confirmation

Hi!
Fantastic app!
Is there any way to get confirmation that a SMS has been sent through the API? I see that I get this message when I send:

But that happens even if I turn off mobile data on my device, so the success is just a confirmation that the request is registered I guess.
From Tasker I can only register a profile about sent SMS sent from Tasker it appears.
From IFTTT I can make something happen every time a SMS is sent, so that could work.. But it says it might take an hour before this task is run..
Any ideas? I imagine it can be a bit difficult to differentiate between different SMSes sent.. Maybe you would need to pass on a unique ID on the API call, which the user can poll to check some seconds later?
I have used http://smsgateway.me/ some time, but even though it still works, I cant register new devices, and the app has been removed from Play Store...
