AutoShare Send text to Google Now as Voice search

The term I want Now to act on, "view my reminders" returns different results when text vs voice searched. Voice search goes directly to the Now Reminders screen, while text waits for confirmation (a tap on a checkmark). Obviously I'm aiming for less interaction, so I'd like to perform the search using the Voice functionality but I don't see any way to send text once I switch to the Google Now Voice Search intent.
Interestingly, using the new keyboard input for Assistant, when I type "view my reminders" it brings up the Reminders screen right away.
Am I missing something?
