Could someone take a look at this and see if I've done something daft, because sometimes it will kill the app, sometimes not, sometimes kill it somewhat. but it'll still be in notification. Heres the task. Kill App (67) A1: Variable Set [ Name:%app To:Black player ex Recurse Variables:Off Do Maths:Off Append:Off ] A2: AutoLaunch Query [ Configuration:App Nickname: %app Contains All App Nickname: true Timeout (Seconds):60 ] A3: Variable Set [ Name:%package To:%alpackages(1) Recurse Variables:Off Do Maths:Off Append:Off ] A4: AutoShare [ Configuration:App: Android Action: App Details Settings Data: package:%package Timeout (Seconds):10 ] A5: AutoInput Action [ Configuration:Type: Text Value: Force stop Action : Click Timeout (Seconds):20 ] A6: AutoInput Action [ Configuration:Type: Text Value: Ok Action : Click Timeout (Seconds):20 ] A7: AutoInput Global Action [ Configuration:Action: Home Timeout (Seconds):20 ]
What app are you trying to kill exactly? Does AutoInput perform the clicks correctly? If so it may be just something specific to the app you're trying to kill.
I'm killing the black player media app. Which If I do now, for the first time it will generally work as intended, but if I try and repeat it (in tasker) it will not always work, sometimes it will take two runs to do it, other times it won't bring up the settings page, on those occasions I can also get an auto input error saying it's timed out. But for a one off occurrence it will generally work ok, I'm still building the entire profile, it'll end up being a timer that launches when blackplayer is started, then 2 hrs later it will kill the black player app. I'm still working on the timer part, the rest is done.
