As captioned, sometimes, the tasker does not execute the action in a third party app after it receives a command. I am sure the tasker can recieve the command and execute parts of the whole task because it can show the correct message after I say a command but it just does not execute the action in a third party app at the end of the task.
    Can anyone help?

Can you please export your profile's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the profile in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

    Here you are:
    Profile: Turn On Device (6)
Event: AutoVoice Natural Language [ Configuration:Commands: turn on device ]
    Enter: Turn On Device (4)
    A1: If [ %device eq computer ]
    A2: Flash [ Text:My Computer is waking up Long:Off ]
    A3: Wake Device [ Configuration:Device|2|My Computer Timeout (Seconds):0 ]
    A4: Else If [ %device eq light ]
    A5: Flash [ Text:Turning on my light Long:Off ]
A6: Yeelight Device [ Configuration:Device: Mi LED Desk Lamp, Action: OPEN Timeout (Seconds):0 ]

So, to confirm, the flash "Computer is waking up" shows correctly?

No...i am using natural language, it shows a specific message with conditions and parameters after i say a command, indicating it receives the command correctly but no action/task is taken afterward. It seemingly just cannot execute the whole linked task for the command.

Oh I see what you mean. If you open up the NAtural Language condition and edit the event and check out the selected intents, is the one you selected still selected there?

yes. it is selected in the screen of Autovoice Natural Language -> Commands.
I would like to know if the tasker run in the background or it needs the phone/tablet awake to operate

It should always be able to run in the background :(

But it executes commands successfully when it is awake. When it is locked, it doesn't. Do you have any advice?
