Hi. I think this app can do exactly what i want but i cannot make it work somehow. What I want to do is to click button. I created a task to launch app, wait for 2 sec, another task to create action plugin (autoinput) and i choose easy setup with the action click. i run the tasks, the app (e.g. calculator) comes out but NO CLICK happened at all. Tried text, tried tag tried coordinates.

Given that i have started the trial and enable the accessibility for autoinput and tasker. Do you have any clue on that? my device is galaxy tab s.

What calculator app are you using exactly? The samsung one? Have you tried doing the same with the YouTube app for example? Like opening the app and clicking the subscriptions button?

calc is the android one. Just tried youtube, it doesn't work either. nothing happened at all. i created task > plugin > autoinput > action. i run the task with a green light on the left. then i switch to youtube. nothing comes out. Any clue?

Can you try with this task please?
It should simply open youtube and click on the middle tab (subscriptions)

    Code (Text):
    Test AutoInput (144)
A1: Launch App [ App:YouTube Data: Exclude From Recent Apps:On Always Start New Copy:On ]
        A2: AutoInput Action [ Configuration:Type: Text
    Value: Subscriptions
    Action : Click Package:com.joaomgcd.autoinput Name:AutoInput Action Timeout (Seconds):20 ]
        A3: Flash [ Text:Done Long:Off ]

That's just the description of a Tasker task :)
    1. The first action launches the youtube app
    2. Then there's an AutoInput action to click the text "Subscriptions"
    3. Then there's a flash with the text "Done"
    Hope this clarifies it.

Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance

Can you please move the "done" flash to after the AutoInput action? Thanks

Tried. The result is the same. It seems that the click action of autoinput never happen somehow.

I'm having similar issues trying to get AutoInput to execute a command for the Poweramp music player. I have a large playlist in which I want AI to delete the currently playing song after a certain amount of time has passed. I have the timers set and working, I have the list controls configured, Poweramp is running and in play - all I need to do is perform the deletion. Yet I simply cannot get AI to obey instructions. I followed the easy format, I set the options to seek out the "delete" word, I even toggled the box to tell the action it was part of a Tasker task. Yet when called upon, nothing. The action just sits idle and the task stops dead.

What am I doing wrong here?

You have to not select the option that it's a Tasker action, otherwise it'll try to click stuff in Tasker :)

Can you please export your task's description (not xml) so I can take a look? Long-click the task in Tasker->export description Thanks in advance
