Hello, I'm trying to get EventGhost and AutoRemote working. I've followed the Getting Started guide and was able to register my PC and send messages to my phone via through EventGhost. However, I get an error when trying to send a message to EventGhost. Here is my log: Code (Text): version 3.0.43 OS Build LMY47X.G920W8VLU2BOI1 OS Code 22 Device SM-G920W8 Manufacturer samsung Product zerofltebmc Out - 2015-10-18 22:44:32.407 - Error sending Text: "test" to EventGhost: Error doing request: org.apache.http.conn.ConnectTimeoutException: Connect to .. timed out
There's probably an issue with your network which doesn't let your phone communicate with EG. Have you tried this? Should be easier and more hassle-free to setup:
I've seen that but I'm a bit lost. Chrome fallback is selected, but what else do I need to do? How do I add Chrome to the Device list?
Just install the AutoRemote Chrome extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/autoremote/hglmpnnkhfjpnoheioijdpleijlmfcfb Then you can add Chrome to your device Hope this helps
Problem sending message from EventGhost to Phone. I get this error in EventGhost log: Calling url https://autoremotejoaomgcd.appspot.com/sendrequest Result from sending request: Your key is invalid. Please check your key and try again. Sending message from Phone to EvenGhost works fine. Help me, please.
