Yesterday I noticed the method I used to cast youtube to a google home is no longer working. On youtube I would use the share action to send it to AutoCast. My google home responds with a noise that its about to start playing something but it never plays the audio. Also from the google home app, I can see it thinks there is media from autocast being played. Did google break something?
I seem to be having the same problem. Not sure exactly when it started but it's been a few weeks now.
Unfortunately Google disabled auto-playing of YouTube videos in their API so unfortunately it won't work anymore It's a shame.
