Open Join or Autoremote?

Hey everyone new to these forums and recently started automation with Tasker! I've been picking up a number of plugins and the autoapps are all really neat. I noticed the Join App was recently released though which made me stop to wonder what are the differences in functionality and how much do they overlap? I will mostly be connecting my phone to my desktop with windows 10. What are the pros and cons of each? Should I get both? Thanks for the help!

 

There is definitely overlap between AutoRemote and Join. Best way to see is to just try both out yourself and see what each is capable of. Join is very nice because of the all the nice, intuitive GUI interfaces.
