I'm using an LSL script in Second Life to generate and send Say Actions to the Join API via HTTP Request. It wraps the source test to be spoken in the Join API URL and sends it out. In the case of Windows 10 the same voice is used no matter what is set in settings. This includes selecting a voice via the Metro UI "Speech" Settings or the classic "Speech Properties" control panel applet. On an Android device switching voices is no trouble at all. I'm not sure it's Windows 10 or something I'm missing in the API. One thing I want to get a better understanding of is the syntax for the "Language To Say Text" section. Not much is explained about it's use.

    Any ideas?

Hi. I think it should work the same as the Android version. The language to use should be in the format shown here. Does this help?

Just when I was beginning to suspect is was a Windows 10 bug. Thank you!

Same as Android doesn't count for much because on my phone I use Acapela Group TTS and it seems to be able to switch language freely on it's own.
