   I have a task set to trigger on a time when my unrooted Marshmallow phone is usually locked with a PIN code (no smart lock). The task is intended to open an app, then click on a button, and then go to home screen, but instead it shows 'AutoInput error action timed out'. How can I fix this issue? thanks!

   The app is only intended to be used when what you want to click is visible on the screen. What the app does is simulate user input, so apps that you want to click have to be open. Hope this clarifies it.
