I had a previous post here about the inability of linking Alexa with autovoice but it appears to have been deleted.

I've been trying to link autovoice with Alexa for weeks now. What gives....?

What happens when you try? Do you get an error? Sorry, the post must've been deleted by accident.

The pic attached is the error i get. I've followed the steps numerous times. I've tried it on my phone using chrome, my PC using chrome and Firefox. I continue to get the same error.

My Id for Amazon is different than my id used for Google.

Hmm, is there a reason why you're using an incognito tab for that?

That's just what the screen looked like when I requested the Alexa app to open it in chrome on my phone. It isn't an incognito window.

Oh, I see. What do you get if you select the option to open it in chrome from the menu? Thanks

I get the same error. It doesn't matter where I try to link the account. It always fails with the same error.

Weird! What if you do it on a PC here?

Is that on a PC? Or on your phone still?

Are you maybe blocking popups on your PC? It should prompt you to login to your Google Account when accessing that website...

Your question about pop ups made me look into the settings in Chrome and in fact chrome was preventing cookies from being saved. After enabled cookies from third party sites I was able to link my account.

    Great :) Glad that's resolved.
