Solved How to replace phone # with contact's name

I received a text message from someone who was not in my contacts. On the Join chrome extension, the text shows up as the person's phone number. But I've since added that person into my contacts. But Join doesn't seem to be syncing that contact names. Texts still show up as the phone number and not the person's name.

 

you need to disable/enable SMS on the device (your phone); open the Join app, Settings, open "SMS and Phone Calls", toggle "SMS and Call Service" off and back on. This will force a resync. I believe he plans to make this automatic, but for now you have to force a resync.
