New to tasker and autoapps, but already love them. I've got an unrooted Galaxy S5 running lollipop 5.0 and using Smart Lock to disable fingerprint while at home (which is working). I'm trying to unlock the screen with autoinput at the beginning of an entry event, but no luck. I've tried different strategies found here, including using a popup with a 1 sec timeout, but the closest I've gotten it to working is just getting the screen on. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't think it can be done if you have lock screen security. It works fine if you just have to swipe to unlock your screen but with any other method it's not working. :( Sorry, wish I could help!

So while at home, where I'm trying to run this, Smart Lock disables all but swipe, yet I still can't seem to make it work - screen comes on, but it stops there unless I swipe myself.

yeah, that doesn't work either sorry. It really must be set to swipe to work. Wish I had a way around it!

Not sure if anyone is still monitoring this thread or not, but a solution for me was:

    1. Secure Settings to disable keyguard and
    2. Secure Settings to turn off fingerprint security (if enabled).
    3. Use secure settings to turn screen on for 5 seconds.
    4. Run shell command with the following command:
      1. input swipe 200 1800 1500 1800
    5. Secure Settings to enable keyguard
    6. Secure Settings to enable fingerprint security.
