AutoGMail Notification doesn't disappear

After reading/deleting/moving... An email on the desktop browser, or gmail app, the AN doesn't disappear, even after waiting some time for the app to "refresh".
It only leaves the notification area after accessing it through AN (including previously deleted emails, when clicking on it's AN it opens the inbox).
Is there a fix to it?

    Thanks,
    Eduardo

Unfortunately there's no way for AutoNotification to know that you have read a certain email sorry!

Doesn't AN checks my inbox to create the alerts? Instead of updating based on the current inbox situation it piles new alerts on top of the previous ones?

It doesn't check your inbox at intervals.. It simply replicates the Gmail notifications. To do what you asked for AutoNotification would have to have an always running service that checked your Gmail every once in a while to find out if you had read the email. Would be very bad for the battery.

Understood (haven't noticed it when using the Gmail notifications, maybe wasn't paying attention)

That's because Gmail has access to better APIs that notify it when there's a change :)
