AutoVera Poll sensors rather than wait till they are pushed.

    I am using Vera to control about 10 solenoids that are supposed to be under temperature control.

    Id like to be able to poll the temperature probes for the current temp based on a heartbeat from Vera.

    I have the heartbeat set up and the control of the solenoids, however the temp %avtemperature variable appears to be a push rather than a current status (only goes to AV when it changes)

    How can I poll devices for something like %avcurrentemp

    Check the "Devices Info" action in Tasker :) That should allow you to access the current states of your devices. Hope this helps!

    What if you just check the 2nd device for example? Does it return a temperature? Maybe device 2 and 3 aren't returning a temperature?
