AutoNotification AN Notification

I am going to start using Tasker & AN to intercept app notifications and produce, sounds, vibration patterns, LED colours.

I am just wondering if it's possible to stop the AN notification toast from poping up. I'm assuming it's by design and needed to interact with the system to produce the required sounds and patterns? I have a wait command of 500ms then an AN Cancel notification matching AutoNotification. Is this the best way of doing this?

//EDIT:: I have added a wait until $SCREEN ~ on before canceling the AutoNotification status bar notification. sort of works, but if the screen is already on I do not get a notification, not a bad outcome really.
