Ever since Android 11 beta 2 on a Pixel 3, my task to long-press volume keys no longer execute while the screen is off. Is anyone else experiencing this or know of a fix/workaround? The same task works fine while the screen is on.

Does it work if music is playing?

It does not, that's what I'm trying to primarily use it for (skipping tracks).

Hi, just wanted to follow up to see if you need any additional info/testing from my end to diagnose this, or if it just seems like a weird fluke with my phone.

I have been playing around with a few alternative apps, and have had good luck with one called Volumee. It uses the Accessibility service to detect vol long press with screen ON, but requires no permissions to detect vol long press with screen OFF (aside from Notification access to detect the actual media app and process the skip action). I wonder if Tasker could use a similar implementation.
