What I meant was that it's a bit confusing knowing what to enable. Do I have to enable some of the system apps? Google apps? Or do I simply just enable the apps themselves to make it work?

And in my opinion there are to many menus and it's easy for a non-techy guy to get lost compared to Pushbullet. Is it possible to hide system apps if they are not meant to be enabled?

Do you mean specifically about the notification syncing features? If yes, you should just enable the apps you want to have notification syncing for and don't enable the others... :) Or do you mean something else?

That was the main question, so thanks for answering :)

Also I have a few ideas, but I don't know if it's interesting or even possible. I know I can select to hide notifications but is it possible to lock the apps as well? Like an applocker?

    Just an idea :)

Nope, that is outside of Join's scope :) Join is meant to facilitate doing stuff remotely on your device...
