AutoRemote Autoremote url not working

    Hello,
    I have recently installed autoremote and I am trying to connect my devices together but the url is not working on either device. The qr code is not showing. Am I missing something or is the app not working correctly? I have un-installed and installed to get new codes and it has not made a difference.
    The url is working in chrome but will not work for anything else.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, what do you mean that the URL is working in chrome but not anywhere else? Do you mean that if you send a message through chrome it works?

    I believe that I may have concluded and resolved the issue... when I tried to add them previously even an hour ago it was not working. It would state 'not a valid autoremote url' but it appears to be working now. Not entirely sure what has changed but thank you for your response.
