AutoVoice Autovoice confirmation for fan speed

Sorry if this is so basic.
Still getting the hang of autovoice.

I am trying to ask autovoice to turn on my room fan.
It should ask me what speed to turn on.
I say the speed and the fan is turned on at that Speed.


This is a combination of two profiles and tasks. I'm trying a simple chain but I have problems.

Profile "Fan speed"
- plugin -> autovoice -> recognized
- Command set to "Turn on room fan".
- command Id set to 1

Link to
Task "Turn on fan speed"
- Say "what speed"
- Autovoice recognize.


Profile "Speed"
- plugin -> autovoice -> recognized
- command set to "speed $speed"
- command Id set to 2, last command Id set to 1.

Linked to Task "Set speed"
- Alert %avcommand %speed

Both %avcomm and %speed shows nothing.
It flashes up as %avcomm and %speed

Not sure why.

Also, if I want to make "room" as a variable room, how can one pass the variable? simply by using $Room for global?
