Blink LED in BLE device upon notification [send instructions to BLE device]?

Hi,
I have a BLE device (tag) which has a green LED. It lights up when the device is charging and blinks when it connects to the phone.

Is it possible, using Tasker, to
1. Connect to the BLE device ?
2. Maintain the connection while the phone is within BLE range?
2. Send instructions to it when a phone notifications comes in (through specific apps)?
3. Alert (vibrate) the phone when the BLE devices conencts/disconnects?

Note that the BLE device can connect to the phone via a number of free BLE connection apps available on the playstore. However, the free app(s) do not have a persistent notification (and another mechanism), so get killed when the app is closed and the BLE connection is lost.

The original app which came with the BLE device is no longer maintained (and did not have persistent notification any way so got killed).

I have tried Gadgetbride but it does not connect to my BLE device.

I would be interested to know the possibilities.

I am Tasker user since 2012, so I am willing to try any difficulty level.
