Change Bluetooth Audio Codec

    Hi!
    Since Oreo we've been able to change the audio codec, for better or worse.
    In my case it's creating a problem as my phone defaults to LDAC and Viper4Android does not recognize this as a valid codec so it does not process the sound.
    Changing manually to aptX makes everything work as it should again.

    Is it possible to automate this in any way?
    I could catch the bluetooth connection to my headphones but how do I trigger a change in audio codec?
