Open Chrome OS pains

Hello. First of all I want to thank the developper for his amazing work!

Now, I'm experiencing pain points when using Join on Chrome OS. These are mainly:

1. The global shortcut option for the keyboard shortcu does not work outside of the browser. Not on the desktop or in Android apps (that's to be expected), not even in windowed web "apps"! Is it a system limitation? How come "global" is an option at all then?

2. I would love to see Join as a shortcut in the launcher, like many web apps can be. This would partly solve my first complaint, because I'd save one step when I want to use Join from anywhere outside the browser. In order, for example, to send an sms, I actually have to A. Open Chrome B. Click the join button on the address bar up top (which is a stretch when in tablet mode) C. Select the sms tab
A shortcut in the launcher that opens the windowed sms view of Join directly would be a great one!
