Open Chrome SMS notifications won't dismiss after reading texts on phone

    I'm using an Android phone using the SMS text app Textra. If I read text messages on my phone, Chrome still shows the notifications that I haven't read the texts yet. Is there a way that after I read a text on my phone, I don't have to dismiss all the texts I just read on my phone in the Chrome extension as well? It seems redundant. Thanks!
