Previously a rather complex setup would have to be done for this, but now it's very easy!
I wonder how @DaveDH made it... Any clue?
Sorry, that I don't know...
Hi, I've imported the profile and got yatse set up, I've enabled the various services etc in kodi but i can't get this to work via Alexa.
I say the command ... " Alexa ask autovoice to play movietitle " and she responds correctly and the flash message appears on my android box but then the movie doesn't play
Any ideas please?
Does using the Yatse plugin in a standalone task work for you?
I think I've sorted it now, there was a problem with my kodi library and some movies were duplicated.
I've cleared my library and repopulated it and it now seems to work.
Just need to sort out the generic commands section now
Just wondering if the Yatse app will need to be installed on the Android Box/Shield TV?
As, I was hoping to use the Google Home to take voice commands and send this to AutoVoice and Yatse on the Shield.
You need to install Yatse on the same device that has Tasker and AutoVoice That's it!
However, anyway I think about it, it seems like I'd have to first say "OK Google" just to get Tasker/AutoVoice listening for "OK Kodi." At that point, that seems like a lot of talking just to get simple commands across. There wouldn't be any way to have always listening when I have Yatse/XBMC running, would there? (Would there be a way through Tasker to set it up so that whenever I was home and XBMC/Yatse were running, my hotword became "OK Kodi," but anytime else it was "OK Google"?)

Unfortunately there's no way to do that, sorry!
It displays a list of errors, but goes away so fast I cant read it.
