    Hi,

As of today Dropbox API v1 has been retired. Are there any plans to add v2?
There is the possibility to add the API, but I do not know how to do it myself.

I got this error after configuring the AutoWeb Web Service Action in my Tasker Cloud Backup To Dropbox profile:

Error in call to API function "files/upload": Bad HTTP "Content-Type" header: "application/json". Expecting one of "application/octet-stream", "text/plain; charset=dropbox-cors-hack".

I double checked the settings and Path somehow got changed to %%%&&%/CRAPOLA%%%&&%/ from /taskerbackup/%DEVMOD/%atcalculateddate.xml. I saved the proper settings again, and got a different error:

java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'java.lang.String com.joaomgcd.autotools.common.api.Endpoint.getId()' on a null object reference.

Thank you for the report. Are you able to upload the file in a new independent test task?

I browsed for the file in the test task instead of using %backupfile and it uploaded successfully.

    Hi,
    thanks for the quick upload!!!
I am still having some trouble. The file upload works, but the API call seems to get stuck until I get a timeout error, so no following steps can be called.
I even tried to add path_display and path_lower as output fields, but I think the API call stops before that.
    Daniel

Edit: I tried the List files in Folder API action. This too seems to be stuck until timeout, no output values are returned.

I just tried to use the v2 API and it only prompted my dropbox app to upload the file. When i uninstalled the dropbox app, autoweb upload processes the upload indefinitely and it never moves on to the next action in the task.

It has nothing to do with your Dropbox app. AutoWeb will load a Custom Chrome Tab to authenticate. Try going to Your Web Services > long press Dropbox v2 > Reauthenticate.

: autoweb, dropbox
