Any reason why I'm receiving duplicate notifications across all of my devices? If I get a text, email, or whatever, I get it sent twice to each and every device. Also, suggestion...... The icon that you have associated with notifications is kind of.... gross. The Join icon + that weird blue circle is so, so ugly. The functionality is still great though. EDIT: Another suggestion! I would like the ability to open certain actions in Google Chrome. Lets say when I click on an Inbox notification, it should pull up the email inside of Google Chrome. Likewise with whatever other notifications that may be linked to a website. Let's just start with Google services first though.
I'm having the same issue. I only have my notifications from Textra forwarded to my computer so I don't know if the issue appears with other apps. I uploaded a video here. https://goo.gl/photos/hCfRpaadsw5gFcQT6
How many chrome devices did you configure it to send notifications to? Thanks. Also, what icon is gross exactly? Can you show me a screenshot of that?
I have 4 Chrome devices set up currently. However, I have no idea which one is which due to the fact that the naming scheme doesn't transfer via Chrome and only shows on the phone-side of Join. This is with the send Notification Icon setting turned off..... I didn't even realize it was there TBH. Here is the icon in question: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxnL3Zc_NhFGVWd2a0Q1dlBxMXM/view?usp=sharing
I have 3 Chrome devices set up. One for my desktop, laptop, and work computer. I get 2 notifications on all devices.
I'm also receiving duplicate notifications, but only for texts via Textra. Emails via Google Inbox are not duplicated. I have only a single other device set up (Chrome browser on my desktop).
My setup is only my Moto X and one Chrome device, and I've noticed that I'll get duplicate notifications if I don't manually dismiss a text or email notification on my phone. As long as the notification remains on the phone, it will be periodically resent to Chrome.
