    Hi,
Just wondering if you have a plan to implement any sort of encryption? I read a post on reddit titled, "...has all Pushbullet functions and more!" but I don't see end-to-end encryption as a feature.

    Thanks

Sorry, it doesn't really have all Pushbullet features yet :p
But yes, I plan to add end-to-end encryption to the app.

I am really looking forward to the end-to-end encryption and I'm sure many of the community will be doing so as well.
Do you plan to ever open-source the server side of the system? I'm assuming there isn't a server-side at the moment but perhaps an implementation without GCM...

There is a server side at the moment to keep your device list and GCM keys. Yes, maybe I can open source that, don't see why not :)

I reckon that would build confidence for the more security-aware users.
I love your attitude! Donating again soon :)

edit: just wondering; is the e2e encryption being worked on at the moment or is that a focus for the near future?

It's not being worked on yet. It'll be something I'll implement in the future. I want to get a solid foundation for the the communication in the app and when that's settled, I'll add encryption on top of it. At least that's the plan :)

thank you very much for your support!!
