Error: failed to import profile data

    I am fairly new to this so I apologize in advance. I copied the XML code to notepad and saved the file as profile.prf.xml. I then emailed the file to myself and downloaded it to my Droid MAXX phone. When i go to import the profile on Tasker, i see the file in my downloads folder on my phone, click it, and this error (Error: failed to import profile data) comes up. I've tried different file extensions but "prf.xml" seems to be the only thing that Tasker even sees in my downloads folder so i must have the format right. Not sure where to go from here.

    Maybe when copying to notepad something got lost. I don't know where you imported it from, but can't you right-click->save as instead? That will make sure that you don't modify the file in any way :)
