Open Gmail not notifying in Join, all other notifications are

Not sure if something with the recent Gmail update on Android 10, but since a recent update, I no longer get Gmail notifications in my Chrome Join extension on my macbook. I've tried resetting my gmail after its update, i.e.; cleared cache, storage, force stopped and restarted and started over, but still no Gmail notifications. Anyone else having similar in the last week? Thanks
