AutoCast Google Home not showing up / casting not working

when I select cast device my only option is "first available cast device", it doesnt show the name of my google home device specifically. It shows up fine as a casting option from other apps such as play music.
EDIT: ok realized I should be using the Autocast Speak action, not regular Autocast. But when I use that there is nothing at all under the cast devices. My Google home doesnt show up at all. When I fill it in manually it seems to connect to my chromecast but then plays connection sound and no words

 

I'm just dumb and realized I have to set the device by in the autocast app before using the plugin.
