Solved Issue clearing notifications in Chrome extension

Hi all,
I am new around here, so apologies in advance if I'm doing something wrong...
I noticed that with the Chrome extension, a little number pops up in the corner of the extension icon when I have outstanding notifications (e.g. a new text message). If I try to clear the notifications using the "clear all" button, this little number does not seem to be cleared with the notifications. On the other hand, if I clear each of the notifications individually by hitting the little "x," then the notification count gets updated correctly.
Let me know if any additional information is needed to resolve this.
