   I would love to get away from GCM. Might even offer wider platform support. End to end encryption built in.... lower power consumption....
   
   Autoremote and Join are both candidates to use it surely

   Hmm, I don't see how it can improve battery life over GCM. The developer is comparing the use if their service with the full Google Play Services package, not just GCM. Of course it's going to use a lot less
