Solved Messages Not Syncing From PC to Phone

    I have a Pixel 2 XL with Android 8.1. I recently moved to Join from Pushbullet because messages sent from the PC were not syncing with my phone text app (Android Messages.) But the same thing is happening with Join in that I'll send a message via the Chrome Extension and the other person gets it but on my phone, I never see what I sent via Join. I'm guessing this might be either an Android Messages problem, 8.1 problem or a combo of both.

    Side note...I think I'll stay with Join...I'm digging it. :)

    A factory reset has fixed this problem. I am now able to use Join with my Pixel 2 XL and Android Messages. My guess is something got corrupted when I restored messages via SMS Backup and Restore. I never had a problem with SMS Backup and Restore but it is my best guess.
