    Hi,

I'm mirroring my Android notifications on Windows 10 using the Join Chrome extension. This is regarding how join handles notification dismissal syncing.

As you all know, in Windows 10, when you receive a notification, it stays in pop-up mode for a few seconds like this:

Then it's only visible in action center like this:

So when I receive a notification on Android, I receive a mirror notification on my Windows 10 laptop too. Now if the notification is in pop-up mode as I've described above & I dismiss the notification on my phone, the notification is dismissed from Windows 10 action center too. Works as expected.

But when the notification is only in action center as I've described above, if I dismiss the notification on my Android phone, the notification is not removed from action center by Join. Because of this, I have to dismiss the same notification twice, i.e. Once on Android phone & again on Windows action center.

So is this expected behavior & is there a way I can make Join dismiss a notification in Windows 10 when it's removed on Android even when it's only in action center in Windows 10?

I know this is very confusing but I've tried my best to explain.

Thanks for the explanation. That seems like a fundamental flaw in how Chrome handles the interaction between it and the Windows Notification center. Join doesn't control that. It simply tells Chrome to dismiss the notification. Then Chrome should tell Windows to dismiss it as well, but apparently it isn't doing it :(
