Open New Nexus 6P can't get any chrome/nexus to communicate.

Basically my phone died and it wouldn't work with gps/cell service. I got a new nexus 6p in the mail, and I can't get join to rework with it. I've uninstalled the chrome extension. Uninstall the app. Reset all the settings. Any tips/hints/things to try?

I can't get my desktop at home/surfacebook/work laptop/nexus 6p to communicate whatsoever. It's still showing SMSs from the day my phone broke.

The way my phone broke was it stopped all data and GPS.

I enabled email notifications so I should respond quicker.

 

Nope, can't send a webpage to it, can't send send text, can't locate device. Nothing pushes through.

I think I made progress. Now on my desktop it says in the drive it doesn't have SMS files. How can I resolve this issue?

 

It did initially with the SMSs. It said it needed access, which I granted.

The issue I'm having now is my chrome extension says "
Error downloading contacts file: File doesn't exist on your google drive: contacts=:=34c0d44f8fb8449faa86a6efbbd2565f

Make sure the SMS Service is enabled on this device in the Android App -> Settings -> SMS."

I have a file similar to that in my drive, but I don't think it's the right one. If I delete it will Join create the proper file?

Holy crap, I'm so dumb. I just realized there's another Nexus 6p Device on my devices.

Okay, next question. How can I tell what device is what, I have 7-8 devices on my list. I'd like to remove them and get them renamed correctly.

How can I remove them all and add them again without messing things up too harshly.
