OS X notifications?

    Would it be possible to let Join post system notifications to OS X? I realise this would involve writing an OS X app.

    Yes, I'd need to create an OSX app for that :) Maybe I can do that someday!

    I'd like to +1 (or maybe +10) this! It'd be sexy-as-fuck if we could respond to text messages and stuff like AirDrop or AirText allow!! You would be...a god, or king, or whatever-you-wanna-be, Brother.

    Aside: It's actually a little difficult to search for this topic on the forums ("os x," "mac," they are all just too short!):)

    I was under the impression that Chrome now posts notifications to the default Notification Center on OS X... is that not the case?
