I was unable to get AutoCast to see my Chromecast or Google Home so I switched to the beta and now I can see the devices. However, I cannot reliably cast anything to the Chromecast. As a test, I tried casting the web page http://google.com and I get an android notification saying that "AutoCast casting screen...Casting now" but nothing changes on the Chromecast. If I hit the start task icon a 2nd time, the Chromecast screen goes to black and stays that way. I am running a Samsung S7 Edge with Android 6.0.1. Is there any set of tests/diagnostics I can run or would a log file help to resolve this? Does this work reliably for others?

I've been having issues w/ this as well. Even w/ said beta. I've gone into Google Home and reboot the Chromecast from there and it works. But I have to keep doing this.
Sometimes I'll have to go to Plugin/Autocast/App and stop casting from within Tasker to get it to work. But that's not really working atm.
I'm also having troubles w/ the AutoCast Query, getting the %aciscastingautocast variable to return anything.
Sometimes I'll duplicate the action and get good results, but it's not always consistent.
Also, I've noticed weird glitches while testing this task from within Tasker. Like the inability to save the task correctly and the inability to test it correctly (took a reboot to get the tasker test feature to work). This is probably, however, something wrong w/ tasker.
    What gen is your Chromecast?

I'm using 2 1st gen Chromecasts, so I'm not sure if that is a contributing factor, or not.

Sorry, thanks for the reports. I'll look into it.
