   I noticed that even after I deleted my SMS conversations on Hangouts, Join on Chrome still had the old conversations under "SMS/Phone". Is it possible to have an option to "refresh" the SMS conversations on the phone with the database stored on Google Drive periodically?

   Sorry about that. For now there's no automatic refresh for deleted SMS. You can do that yourself by disabling/re-enabling the SMS service in the Android app. Hope this helps
