Open Windows 10 Chrome Issues

Hi,

I have followed all instructions here: https://joaoapps.com/join/faq/ and https://forum.joaoapps.com/index.php?threads/windows-10-chrome-extension-cant-receive-pushes.2756/

I can run diagnostics on my phone and it passes all, then on the chrome extension and again it passes it all.

From the first link, I can push to chrome, and everything works, there is a message received log.
From the second link i have done what it says and there is no difference.

I can receive SMS, but no other notifications get through. No gmail, no whatsapp, no Simple PRO, no Aquamail, nothing....these are all very popular apps, so why is nothing coming through?

I bought this specifically for notifications through to my browser, but it is literally not doing anything....

Is there a fix? If not, what is the alternative to Join? AirDroid? I bought this because i wanted to further support the dev because Tasker is such a good app, but i couldnt purchase it twice!!!
