    I'm using AutoVoice Recognize with MacroDroid to respond to short (mostly single word) commands. Everything is working OK except that sometimes I say a word (usually a place name) which is correctly recognised, for example "Chorley" (appears in the voice popup with capital C) but this is then immediately replaced by "charlie" (with lower-case c).

    I have experimented with numerous combinations of AutoVoice settings but have not been able to find a way of preventing this unwanted substitution.

    Any and all help much appreciated.

    Hi there. AutoVoice doesn't control that popup, sorry, that's all Google's doing. It simply thinks that it's more probable that you're saying "Charlie" than "Chorley".

    What you can do is use the Replacements options in the AutoVoice condition to replace charlie with chorley again :)

    Thanks. That makes sense and I found the relevant setting. I have tried:
    charlie=chorley
    charlie=chorley,
    charlie=Chorley
    charlie=Chorley,
    charlie=Chorley,Charlie=Chorley
    charlie=Chorley,Charlie=Chorley,
    'charlie=chorley'
    'charlie=chorley',
    'charlie=Chorley'
    'charlie=Chorley',
    'charlie=Chorley','Charlie=Chorley'
    'charlie=Chorley','Charlie=Chorley',

    The setting is definitely being saved, but it's not having any noticeable effect. What might I have missed or should I try next?

    Can you please try this in AutoVoice:
    - clear logs
    - enable system logs
    -do command
    -export logs and paste them here
